A native New Orleanian, Michael J. Clément’s design studio specializes in ceramic, hand crafted lamps, vessels and other distinctively finished interior accessories. Every piece is created by Clément and the design reflects his aesthetic of both classical and traditional forms, along with finishes and patterns that evoke the veneer of New Orleans. Our studio's artisans represent talent from sculpture to painting and graphic arts.
Clement's talents and interests are diverse. By trade, Clement is a landscape designer and finish carpenter; he received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Clément’s art primarily focuses on the rich cultural treasures of the deep south. Designing for over 10 years, Clément’s collection of decorative arts are clearly inspired by the climate and culture of New Orleans – representative of a patina of time.
